WHAT IF CHURCH WASN’T A PLACE YOU GO BUT WHO YOU ARE?
What if a handful of disciples lived out the gospel with you in the everyday stuff of life? You’d share meals, watch each others kids, party together, serve your neighborhood, restore what’s broken on your block, talk about Jesus a lot and see people begin to follow him. It would be messy, it would be magnificent, and it would be Jesus’ vision for his church.
Discipleship Communities are a way in which we build meaningful relationships and live our lives on mission together throughout our neighborhood.
These are smaller groups of people (10-20) which meet twice a month in homes. Through these relationships, we mutually challenge, encourage, and support one another to truly believe who we are in Jesus and to do the mission of Jesus in our neighborhood and beyond. We believe that God meets with us as we meet with one another, and the result is that our lives, the lives of others, and our neighborhoods, experience the renewing power of Jesus.
Whether you consider yourself part of Grace City—or if you’re just checking out what it looks like to follow Jesus—it is our desire that everyone would be an active member in one of these communities.
Please contact one of the DC leaders by way of the information provided. They will be eager to answer any of your questions and to connect you to one of the groups.
